A comedy in three acts

The hilarious story of a theater group desperately trying to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from the playwright constantly revising the script.

Open Auditions

When: December 19, 20, and 21, 2011, 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
(Appointments for alternate dates/times available by request - contact the director Jim Renney below)
Where: LionHeart Headquarters, 77 S Front St, Grant, MI 49327 - Directions
(NOT at the usual Grant Elementary School location!)

Roles available: 3-6 males, 4-7 females, 10 total.
Performance dates: March 2-3 & 9-10, 2012. (Fri & Sat evenings, Sat Matinee)
Possible additional Sunday matinee on either the 4th or 11th.
Rehearsals: Starting January 9, 2012, Mon/Tues/Thurs, 6:30pm-8pm.
May be adjusted depending on actors' schedules.

Aggie (or Algie) Manville (M or F) - stage manager and prompter, age flexible
Gerraldine (Or Gerald) "Gerry" Dunbar (M or F) - community theatre director, roughly middle aged
Henry Benish (M) - mid 50s, married to Polly, charactor actor
Polly Benish (F) - mid 50s, married to Henry, charactor actress
Marla "Smitty" Smith (F) - pretty and awkward, actress, around 17
Saul Watson (M) - snarky, mid 40s, actor
Billy Carewe (M) - athletic man of spirit, actor, mid 20s
Violet Imbry (F) - pretty, ditzy, actor, mid 20s
Louise (or Louis) (M or F) Peary - dour, mid 30s, sound/lighting/everything theater tech
Phyllis Montague (F) - maiden lady of 40s or 50s, playwright
